| If you visit Lisbon, you have to try the famous pastel de Belém, or pastel de nata (the most delicious custard tartlet in the world). Of all the recipes in Lisbon, the pastel de Belém recipe is the oldest. The original recipe came from the Jerónimos Monastery, a short walk from the bakery. Come inside and feast your eyes on the authentic old ceramic tiles adorning the walls. |
